Stainless steel offers exceptional corrosion and oxidation resistance properties; however, it may be susceptible to reduction in salt water or marine environments. Marine Grade Stainless Steel Pipe is a component that provides enhanced resistance to reductive media that is common in marine systems. These pipes resist intergranular corrosion and prevent pitting by acids. The Marine Steel Pipe exhibits excellent strength and doesn’t easily dissociate under any pressures or temperatures that are common in marine environments.
The Sch 40 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Tube is the most common type of schedule that a pipe is produced in. These tubes have moderate strength and can hold moderate pressures within the system. Schedule 40 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Pipe can be produced in different dimensions and sizes to meet a wide range of product requirements. These pipes are produced in nominal sizes between 1/8 to 6NB, making use of the best raw materials and the latest technology. The SCH 80 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Pipe is designed to hold higher volumes of fluids and gases in comparison to SCH 40 pipes.
