Product Description
Outer diameter: 4-100mm
Standard: ASTM A519
Material : 4130/4140
Automotive Frames: Used in various automotive frame applications including chassis frames, roll cages, suspension components, and engine mounts.
Racing Vehicles: Employed in high-performance racing vehicles such as dragsters, stock cars, and rally cars for their exceptional strength and durability.
Off-road Vehicles: Utilized in off-road vehicles including trucks, SUVs, and ATVs for their ability to withstand rough terrain and heavy loads.
Motorcycles: Applied in motorcycle frames for their lightweight yet robust construction, ensuring stability and safety during riding.
Advantage:
Alloy Tubing has superior tensile strength and toughness. It also provides a high strength to weight ratio.
4130 and 4140 alloy tubing is easiest of the common alloy grades to be machined, with a minimal stock allowance for clean-up. It has excellent machining characteristics and is a medium carbon alloy.
Easily heat treatable to a broad range of strengths, machineabilities, and hardness’s.
Alloy tubing can be manufactured to a large range of OD and wall thickness dimensions due to it being rolled bar and pierced or cold drawn.
Alloy tubing is an excellent candidate for most processing techniques where strength is required and allows for many options due to its available sizes produced.
